had 2 h.o.g. rented bikes up to about 100 mph a couple times way out west in wyoming and vegas and they were done, Ive have had mine up to about 95 and it seemed to have another 10-15. I seldom ride over 70.
A lot of these posts really deserve the "BS" flag. In reality, Batwings above 105 mph (actual, not speedometer) are rare and talk of 110 -130 mph are delusional unless there is major engine work. After 100 mph, aerodynamics take over, torque doesn't mean squat as it takes HP to push that barn door.

I would have to agree. A stock Glide with about 65 RWH is probably only good for a little over a hundred. Drag goes up as the square of the change in speed, power requirments go up as the cube of the change in speed. With an increase of thirty RWH or an almost 50% increase in RWH, 115 or so sounds feasable. To get over 130 pushing a Batwing will take a major increase in power, far beyond a normal stage one.
Unbelievable speed out of a 95" dyna?
What gear ratio are you running? must be using a chain final drive?
You have a possible record setting dyna at Bonneville running those speeds, Come on out to Bonneville in August...................see ya there?
Bring the R-1 out for a pass or two?

115 MPH in Arizona in 25* weather, they were expecting FEET of snow in the Grand Canyon. It was so cold that I didn't care I just wanted warmer weather in Las Vegas...
