What gear ratio are you running? must be using a chain final drive?
You have a possible record setting dyna at Bonneville running those speeds, Come on out to Bonneville in August...................see ya there?
Bring the R-1 out for a pass or two?
what do you mean unbelievable speed? and it was on my street glide, which sure wasnt as stable as his R1 at that speed. granted i was at around 5k RPM in 5th gear but it wasnt that hard. just had a long stretch of I80 and held the throttle as long as i could. the 95 was dyno'd at 101 TQ and 109 HP to the wheels so it had power but out here in the bay area those numbers arent anything to brag about anymore.

114 on the front stretch at Pocono Speedway. Only from turn three to just past the start finish line due to catching up to other bikes.

Not mine, but a little "Hayabusa Entertainment" since we're on a "Top Speed Thread. The speedo on this bike is in MPH. Take note of the fact that the front tire doesn't come back to earth until 140mph, and check out the rate of acceleration on that speedo!

I have only had my RK custom for 2 weeks. I have had it up to 80mph. I think thats the sweet spot for my bike. I had a 99 Yamaha R1 for about 10 years. I got the speedo once to show 158 mph. When I think back to that day, that sure was dumb.

Whoa...you are either talking kilometers per hour or smokin some real wicked shi! 165 mph from 109 hp on a street glide, in your dreams, NFW!

Two years ago Chris Rivas, a professional racer, set a bagger record at Bonneville of 165, and his motor was most likely in the 175 hp range, and setup, and tuned, and geared,...get my drift? And with a FIVE mile runup on the long course!

If you are talking kilometers, I apologize for the rant. Otherwise take your "mine is bigger than yours mentality" to the "blowin' smoke forum".

first off chill out

second the current record is closer to 200 mph out of a super charged 98" motor on a bagger

now if my friends speedo was off which ive heard of before on sport bikes thats one thing but i know what he told me. even if it was off by lets say 15mph that would still be in the 140-150 range which to me is pretty dam fast. either way this wasnt a pissing contest and no one is on the "ill show you up" hype except maybe you

I am not saying your lying, but that is very difficult to believe. I'd like know what a good gps device would say the acutal speed was.

I'm chilled

You are still puffin'

I have been at the BUB Speed Week @ Bonneville the past four years. No bagger is coming close to 200 mph.

98" motor, Rivas runs either a 124 or 131.

Last year, Leslie Porterfield, world's fastest woman (243 on blown Busa), and she is drop dead gorgeous, switched to a factory sponsored Honda and could not break 190.

You need to check the BUB speed trial website for some actual record speeds.

I agree, 140 -150 is damn fast but it just didn't happen
