Having never attempted the kind of maneuvers your describing I'm afraid I would not be able to comment on how ABS would effect them.
However in real world riding like stated above I will never buy another bike without ABS. The ABS has saved my bacon on a couple occasions already.
And my .02 from another post in regards to the ABS not working in a lean. If you attempt to brake hard while in a lean then you can expect bad things to happen.
Took an advance rider training class with my '09 Ultra with ABS where we did a lot of figure eights and slow speed maneuvers and I never had a problem. If you are spending the dough for a new scoot you need to get the full value on your investment; i.e., get the ABS.
