going to be changing my rear tire this spring. figure that i might as well change my brake pads as well. i find that the original brake pads create a lot of brake dust. are there pads out there that create less dust?
Hard to beat the Brembos on your 09. I have 24K on mine and they stop as good now as on mile 1. Will be swapping them out for new stock pads in the next couple weeks.
Some may have had luck with Lyndall pads, I'm not one of them I installed Lyndall Z pads recently they made so much noise the squeal when I braked was driving me crazy I had to get rid of them(*****d me off they aren't cheap 41 bucks a set) and went back to EBC sintered pads problem solved I wont do Lyndall again!!
Go with the stock pads for your Brembo brakes. The brake dust means they are working and not getting too hot. Harder aftermarket pads that produce less dust will warp your rotors, takes a lot more pressure to get them to work good and that builds up a lot of heat.
just changed mine out last week but haven't been able to ride yet. found some on ebay, 53.00 for 3 pair----2 for front and 1 for back.....don't know how they'll do, but for that price, i try it once........
