Default Need Help With Wiring Problem

I Just installed the Chubby 0577 on my 10 SG. I ran the wires though the bars and now when I press the front brakes my right turn signal comes and goes off if I press the brakes again. It only does it while Im going down the road. Sitting still I cant get it to do it. I checked all the wires again to be sure there wasnt any exposed wires and found nothing. Any Suggestions on what might be causing this?

My first guess is you have a couple of wires crossed. What else could it be?

I might be just a wire strand or two. It only comes on because the power output is higher when your underway. It stops working when you put on the breaks because you slow down the rpm's when you put on the breaks. I would check the wire that controls your break light.

I agree, sounds like is crossed or something is making contact when you pull the front brake. Did you take the switch housings apart when you switched? If you did, something inside the switch housing is making contact when it shouldnt, worth a look. Hope this helps.

Yea, I took the housing apart to install on the new bars. I will take a looking in the housing to be sure nothing is touching. It only does it when Im going down the road and put the brakes on. Sitting still I have applied the brakes and shaken wires and it works fine.. Thanks for the info, I will keep trouble shooting.
