I don't know why you picked up a two year old thread like this instead of starting a new one. I have used Tmax three times with good results the first time on a cable throttle model and not so good results on my TBW. The main problem I see is that it doesn't have base maps anywhere close to what I'm running and the auto-tune doesn't seem to be able to bring it in. I also find the Tmax being an alfaN system does nothing about detonation which I found to be a problem. I am currently using the Power Vision with the auto-tune option and find it to be a much better tuner for my application. It is also nice to be able to monitor engine parameters while on the road. This is a flash tuner which puts a new program in your ECM, so you retain the stock benefits like knock sensor. You can also use the PV to tune away detonation. If you like the Tmax and it works for you, that's great, but it didn't do what I wanted it to do.
Thanks for the insight. I'm new on this blog. Next time I may start a new thread. I had to take the Pulstar Plugs out. Made my bike back fire on ACCELLERATION from low rpm in almost any gear. I went back to HD plugs and it eliminated the problem. I appreciate any tips.
