I've got the 1.75's and love them. Perfect loudness for me.

New guy here. I have an 08 Road King with 1.75 baffles and no engine or intake upgrades. The guys at Rush said not to go any bigger than the 2.00 unless I do a performance upgrade on the computer. Does anybody know if the 2.00 will make that much of a difference in the sound?

willcatchum, The difference between the 1.75" and 2.00" is noticable but not drastic. When you crack the throttle it will almost be the same. At idle and cruising speeds the 2.00" will be louder and lower, but realistically it's not a huge change. Going from the 1.75" to a 2.25" baffle will be much louder with a lower note (tuning strongly recommended). Info valid for open headpipes.

rk10, even with a 2-1-2 headpipe I would recommend 2.25" over the 2.5". The 2.5" is mainly for the guys who want it as loud as possible, have big engine builds, or cat in the headpipe. The 2.5" will work but tuning will be required and you most likely will lose bottom end power.

Putting on the 1.75 on my 11 Street Glide with the 103....will I have any problems? What will it do to the sound?
