Hi everyone. I have an '06 Roadking and just upgraded the cams and oil pump. Afterwards I noticed a problem with my engine light coming on at high speeds (85-90) along with a hesitation as the throttle came down. Searching other posts, I have replaced the spark plug cables, new spark plugs, checked the exhaust pipes for leaks (which I did find one and since corrected). I'm still getting the engine light coming on around 70mph and what feels like a momemtary hesitation until the light goes out. I've check the diagnostics and get a P1353 code. Any ideas on what is going on and how to correct the problem? Thanks.

 

I have a list of the codes. Code P1353 is "Front Cylinder No Combustion". Hope this helps.

 

How radical of a change to the cam(s) was it, and did you retune the bike afterward?

 

I upgraded with the Herko kit and used Andrews 21 cams. All of that went well. No problems that with the upgrades it went smooth.

 

I think your next step is to check the coil.
