Asahi, Thanks,
What year is that on? Is that the 07 and newer where you install a pickup line on the pipe plug next to the drain plug?

The vacs don't get as much dirty oil out as the Scavenger systems do. The Scavenger sytems get everything until you can see clean oil coming out.

I have been using this method for 15 years. My system was designed for boaters. Very easy, very clean. Warm-up bike and suck out fluid from all 3 holes. For each new bike 1000 mile service I test the system by sucking out the fluids and then pull and inspect the drain plugs. The amount of fluid that drains out is less than 4oz (my estimate) for all three holes. After that I never look back. Never had an oil related issue. Good enough for a $75,000 boat that sails the upper Niagara River (Niagara Falls) where engine failure will get you into international news...good enough for the bike.

Is the pipe plug the same on the 09's,with a torque head?On the corner of the pan, facing the front, while the drain plug faces the left side?
