Default Cam change tw6-6
done a few of these but this is a first. trying to surprise dad with a tw6-6 cam change (his bike stays at my house) started early this morning hoping to be done by noon or so. well the primary cam tensioner is worn to much for my liking (24K miles) a new one will be here thursday. hopefully i can keep him away till then.

He's going to poop his pants! LOL! Good job! I would not even say anything just let him fire it up and go, stand back and watch the smile! What tuner are you using? What exhaust?

Hey, I agree swap those cam tensioners if they are showing wear. Bowhunter61 and I did both of our bikes swapping in the tw6. His tensioner was worn at 20K mine at 10k was not.

I think I would tell him because that cam really wakes up that bike.

I emailed you that map too that I found for the 6's that you wanted, did you get it?

I also PM-ed you on this site too, but you didn't respond to that either, did you get that?

yep i got the map. thnx for that. Keith sent me one as well. i ain't gonna tell him. we are a bunch of dragracers and car guys too. when he first fires it up he will immediately know.

the bike and tune is the same as mine. the only diff in the bikes are the color. i'm doing the tw6-6 in my bike too. going to uses the base map then going to take it to wolfgang.

I wish I had someone close to me that I could watch do it. I am visual kind of guy. I know if I saw it I could do it. I'm just nervous opening the motor up.
