I've been using the same Zumo 550 for close to 5 years. Ran it on mt SE Roadking and swapped it to my Limited late last year. Does everything I need. I recently added the XM and just plugged into the aux plug on the front of the head unit. I used a Techmount low profile mount on the L/H side of the handle bars. For me the position is perfect. Ram mounts work great I just find they look too industrial.
