Default Simple install? Yeah right...

Saw a bike on here recently that had the Sterling Chromite II Spark Plug Wires and said to myself I've got to have those. Ended up going through Dennis Kirk and was unable to find the set for my 01 Road King (non EFI) so I called a rep who gave me an order number, placed my order and when they arrived I knew they were not correct as both cables were the same length. There is about 11" between spark plugs so where is the slack supposed to go? Well I finally got around to installing them today and what a PIA it was. First removed the rear screw for the fuel tank but that gave me very little wiggle room. Decided to remove the front screws and with the tank tilted I was finally able to get to the coil and plug in the wires. To try to get all the slack I could I removed the tank dash and fortunately before I put everything back together I tried to start the bike. No power. Pulled the dash and found the ignition plug disconnected. Ya think they could have left about 1/4" of slack but nooooooo. What should have been a 15 minute job was a little more than an hour. 52 degrees in my garage and I was sweating. I just need to pay people to do crap on my bike that I have no patience for. Okay, rant over....

Yeah, I remember you asking the question on a previous thread. I forgot your bike is older and the coil is up front under the tank. On my 10 the coil was moved back in front of the battery box.
