Default Fuel Moto 107 Review

Well i finally went and pulled the plastic and ordered the 107 kit from Fuel Moto, first let me say that this review is non biased and just my opinion.

Bike is a 08 ultra First the pre kit mods, Power commander 5 with auto tune ,Jackpot dyno tuned slip on mufflers, woods tw 6-6 cams, stage 1 air kit. All purchased from fuel Moto, see a pattern here???

Any ways last week i sent the jugs to Jamie to do his magic and last thursday he called me and said they where done and ready to ship, I told him to save the postage and i would go pick it up the next day, did a quick google map and 260 miles later i am at his shop.

Now let me say this about Jamie, He is a top shelf guy, He gave me and my wife a tour of the shop, answered all of my questions, showed me a hands on demonstration of the new power vision, and his new spark plug diagnostic and test machine. that is a work of art. and explained everything i need to do to assemble the 107 motor kit.

So we hauled back from Wisconsin to home and saturday morning i started on the build, Here are a couple things i noticed on the new parts, Pistons, push rods, and the woods lifters.
The pistons are engraved with the Fuel moto logo, so are the push rods and instead of measuring the push rods they are engraved Intake and Exhaust, the lifters have the Woods logo on them and are pre lubed, and the rings are pre gaped, classy and a time saver.

Assembly was normal, 100% complete gasket kit included and clear instructions on the adjustment on the push rods, and a neat little tool to hold up the lifter tubes, sweet!!!

Well after all the bolts where broke and the threads stripped, it took a couple try to fire but it did and after 3 heat cycles it runs like a harley should.

If there are any doubts on you wanting to do it and wondering about the Fuel Moto package, DO IT... you wont be disappointed.

Yet again, positive reviews for Jamie and FuelMoto. This is one vendor (like Dr. V-Twin, Samson, Capt Itch, Phat Performance) that obviously takes pride in his work.

And with gas at almost 4 bucks a gallon, these are the guys i will spend my money with so that they make it through the rough times.

Congrats on the 107, it's coming to my garage in about a year-ish.

I agree with the OP. Jamie and his boys are the ****. I didn't do the 107, just cams and AC. I really didn't think I would see much of a difference from a 103 to a 107. Not enough to notice at least. I really wish he would of had his pushrods when I did my install. They look slick as snot.

I purchased the fuelmoto cam package with tw-555's, fuelmoto pushrods, pcv, bearings, and gaskets. I'm pretty much convinced I'm going all the way to the 107" as I haven't installed the above yet. If I am to complete the package with the cylinders, lifters, and pistons, is there anything else I need to be concerned with other than getting it all put together? I assume Jamie will have another custom map on hand for this setup for my pcv as well. I already have air cleaner, D&D fatcat 2-1, and ecm flash. Not tryin' to hijack your thread but I hear so many positive responses about this package that I just can't wait to get it done! What's the low end torque like on this setup?

The increase in torque from a 103" to the 107" is big. I would recommend this upgrade to anyone. By the looks of the current weather you still have time to do it. It's thundering, snowing and raining all at the same time!

Did you do any work to your heads or left them alone? Also how many miles were on you scoot when you did the upgrade?

Thanks in advance,
