has anyone else had trouble installing the update for software on stereo download from h-d website?

 

I found with the previous upgrade that for some reason when I did the download from work, it wouldn't come through correctly and wouldn't install. But when I do it from home it all works great. Might try doing the download from another location or server just to see if it helps.

 

In installed the firmware update yesterday. First attempt nothing happened and the CD did not come out. I turned the switch off, back on, the CD came out. I set everything up again, loaded the CD and the download worked. The display will tell you what is going on as it is downloading. At the end, the stereo volume is noticeably louder. From what I read on the forum, it also reset the clock to not gain time and has a fix for the CB. You are trying to upgrade a Harmon Karden Radio aren't you? If so, and not working, try to uzip the two files again a resave onto the CD.
