Well everybody says the 103 is better, I haven't ridden one. But I did ride an 08 SG with the 96 and six speed and it didn't seem any faster than my 06 was when it was stock.
Have you ridden a SG yet in any version? If not, that would be the first thing you should do. Not everyone likes them.
What about the young mans bagger? Road Glide Customs are considered the choice for younger riders out here in california...I'm picking my 2011 custom tomorrow with the 103" and I can feel a nice difference in torque from my 2008 RKC.

Trade in? Just pre-lube your rectum before going in, but from what I see on the forums most guys find a good jamming worth it to have the bike they want.
Sounds like a done deal you will not be sorry. I traded my 06 Heritage in on a 08 SG after renting one in Hawaii. I love my SG and wouldn't go back to a softail . Especaily now that my wife has a Deluxe that I can ride when ever I feel like it, well almost when ever..... .
Wow, what a difference. I couldnt go over 2500rpm but the ride is unbelievable, and goin down the interstate with te cruise set and radio jammin was bad... Ill take pics tomorrow and post em!
