I just had good experience with Lakeshore HD. I ordered an SE compensator from their website on Saturday. UPS delivered it on Wednesday, but the compensator assembly was missing the mounting screw. It looked like someone had robbed this part and resealed the box. So I called the dealer on Thursday AM, spoke to Steve Sparks, and asked if he could send the missing screw. He could not have handled this better. " I'm real sorry. This should never happen. Our goal is to take care of the customer. I'll send this out by overnight air and you will receive it tomorrow." He emailed the tracking number and sure enough, the missing part arrived on Friday. The dealer ate the $33.00 cost to make sure that I received a $3.00 screw the next day. This was way beyond my expectation.
Thanks, Steve. Lakeshore has certainly earned my business from now on.
same here. ordered many times with no issue. then i had to return some items from a large order. got an RMA, but sent some additional items. this is not the way to do it. it screwed up his internal system. was all my fault. in addition the box got lost even though it had the signature from the shop. took a while to resolve, but bottom line is he made it good and i will remain a repeat customer.
Steve Sparks at LSHD gets lots of thumbs up from me. He has exceeded my expectations many times and one time it was in a really big way that cost them $$ in the three figure range. But he did it because it was the right thing to do. Give them your business if you can.
Bought my last bike from them. They gave me 2K under MSRP with no freight or set-up fees, and lifetime 20% off of parts and apparel. I shopped five or six other dealers and none of them would even come close to that. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.
I live right around the corner from lakeshore. Thats where I get all my service done and get my parts from. They have great deals through their backdoor website, but with the cost of shipping it's cheaper for me to get them over the counter with a 10% military discount. My dad orders all of his stuff to service his bike from them, and he lives in Texas.
