Default Replacing the outer fairing steps?
My outer fairing on my 2008 FLHTC has some scratches so I'm about to replace it with a new one. Does anyone have the steps involved or any pointers before I start on the project?

There are just 7 screws holding it on, easy as pie to remove. Then it's just a matter of removing/installing the headlight assembly. 15 minute job, tops.

Thanks! Should I pull out the Maxi Fuse if I am just replacing the outer fairing?

no. you don't need to pull fuse.
