I havent used or know of anyone who has used one of these radios. I have a roadking and after looking at the price of this unit, I decided to fab my own unit. I mounted xm on my king, added some ultra lower fairings and molded some speaker mounts to them to hold 5 1/4 speakers 150watt. I also added an amp that I mounted in the saddle bag (its 120watt amp and small in size). The volume control is from radio shack and I molded it to the xm docking station which is mounted center console. The antenna is mounted on my front master cylinder. It turned out to be a very clean set up, and with the addition of the lowers it adds comfort on long hauls and winter riding. I ended up with about 500 in cost and alot of hours of fab but it makes the bike unique and with xm I dont have to change the channel from coast to coast. If you are interested I could sent you a pic. HD also has a MP3 player that mounts to your handle bar controls, but you would still be faced with speaker mounts, volume control, and a way to amplify the signal to the speakers.
