Anyone have this clock from Formotion? It mounts over the fork lock and swivels to allow access with your key. It is about halfway down the link listed below.
No backlight, but I used Blondie's http://www.blondiesclock.com for my RK and am very pleased. Made this choice because the face matches the style of my stock speedo & tach. Instructions for install are on the site, the only drilling I had to do was to re-use the original plastic cover. Check Blondie's ebay listings for the best prices.
Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to know... I've been looking for a clock that looks good and is a little more "custom" than some I've seen. Did you go with the white face or the black carbon fiber version? It looks like Blondies has a black faced one also. Both are nice looking accessories and it is a great place to mount the clock on a Road King, especially since I rarely stick my key in this lock.
Little Arlen, did you have to modify your key to allow it to fit in the slot with the Formotion? It looks like the Blondie's version requires some grinding on the key.

Yes I do. I guess I would ask why you asked?
I love the clock and the fact that it is now backlit.
I had the orignal without the light, it was nice but the new one that lights up is better.
Formotion is a nice company to deal with, I had a problem with my battery and they sent me a new clock for free no shipping costs either.
I went with the white faced because with the backlit feature the entire face lights up making it easier to read at night.
With the black face backlit model only the hands and the numbers light up at night. That works, but at my age makes things harder to read so I opted for easier to read style. (Sucks to be me!)
FYI: The black face clock looks nicer with the black style gauges on the Road King.
As for having to modify your key, all three fork lock clocks that I know about Marlin, Blondies and Formotion you will have to grind down your key a little. Not much and only on one side. With that said, you really can not tell that you have modified your key unless you really look hard.
About drilling. Not required with the Formation clock, just pop off the plastic face plate and intall the the clock. I used anti-seize on the screws, but then I usually use anti-seize or loctite on just about everything...
