I bought my 2006 street glide used from a dealer. When I got it it already had a stage 1 air cleaner on it. Well I added pipes the bike ran great but I since installed larger baffles and thought maybe now I should install a power commander well when I installed the PC the bike ran VERY rich so I unhooked the PC and called for a different map they (PC) give me a different map to try so I uploaded that map and the bike still ran VERY rich. So I removed the PC the bike is back running great. Which it got me thinking maybe when the air cleaner was installed they re-programed the ECM then when I added the PC it made the bike twice as rich? Also bolted to the ECM with a nice bracket there is a small box that has a couple of wires that plugs into the main harness. Nowhere in the service manual can I find out what this box is. Does anyone have a clue to what this box could be?
update with pics does anyone know what this box bolted to my ECM is? It does have a sticker on it the numbers on the sticker are 36059-05cm7106 name on it is kokusan denki co
