They have discontinued only the 07 cruise control. But, the only thing different on the 07 control from the 06 control is the electrical plug. I ordered the 06 unit and had my tech change the plug from the 06 type to the 07 style plug, (takes a special tool to get the plug off) and with the help of a service manual I installed it myself. fairly easy but you do need a manual to set the lash amoung other things. This is the only way you can add cruise to any 07 touring model that I found...
works as it should and I wouldn't be without it.

I went to the dealer to get the 06 control and they searched and said none show up in the system.
I have been going through this on my 07 FLHT...I found the kit from an HD dealer on E-Bay that my dealer said would fit my bike...it didn't fit mine it fit a RoadKing......even the RK kit is pending obsolete so good luck finding it....I do see them on Ebay from time to time.
I made it fit my bike....it was a pain but I worked it out.
Some of the problems are....
You need to get the on/off switch w/harnes but it and the switch are...on national backorder...I found the plug and a switch so I made the harness.
The plugs for your controls were changed in 07 so none of the earlier controls are a direct fit and in 07 they added the clutch switch.
It can be done but it will take some work.
Have you pulled the left side cover to check and see if the control unit is there....mine had no controls for the cruise but it had a control unit.
No, RK will not work different handle bar switches and plugs. I had no problem getting the 06 kit. might try another dealer.
The only CC's I see in the HD on-line catalog are those for the '08 and above and '04-'06 FLHRS. I gather the CC is becoming an endangered species. I hope I don't need any parts for mine in the future.
the cruise unit seems to fit a lot of years and it is available.....I just rode mine and the cruise works fine....if you need help let me know and I can post wiring and other things that I did to make mine work....hard to tell it wasn't from the factory
I don't get it. Why is Cruise no longer available for the 2007 SG? Luckily I had mine installed when I bought the bike. If it was available then why not now?
