How long is the USB power cord you're using?

I just left the power cable outside the fairing, because I don't use this unit all the time.
I wrapped the cable around the bars, and when not in use the only thing left on the bike is that ball handle bar mount.
Oh, I used the 18" cable. I also have the 12" cable and it would probably work, but I didn't want it to bind up anywhere.
By wrapping it like I did, it has enough slack to give a little yet still be a clean setup.

I used the same ball mount for my GPS only mounted it higher on the bars so I can still view the gas guage. Nice pics and info. Always makes post more informative.

I guess the angle of the picture makes is look that way, but the fuel gauge is completely visible when sitting on the bike.
The air temp gauge however is not. But it's pretty much useless anyway.

So, anybody that has added an oil temp or other useful gauge in that location would benefit from mounting it up a little higher.
Certainly easy enough to do.

Awesome, thanks Mo. I've been looking to do this same type of set up before the summer, you did my research for me!

Nice set up! I like the USB power adaptor. When I'm traveling I charge my iPod at night in a motel. It's never run out of power. I use the 12V power socket for my GPS.

You should check out Hawg Clips. It is a local Missouri company.
