hi
i just realise that my 11 flhtk has NO sensor/cable connected to the jiffy stand...
i remember my 09 SG has sensor and cable connected to the jiffy stand , when the engine running, and im in gear, when i put down the jiffy stand, the engine will die.
and my 11 flhtk didnt did that
engine still running , even im in gear with the engine running
do ur 11 flhtk same like mine?
or mine is abnormal..??
i see no cable / sensor on the jiffy stand..
my 11 flhtk is US version, my previous 09 sg is asia bike, maybe that will be a caused..
thanks
regards
adhi
My 2011 Street Glide does not have one either. Other bikes I have owned had the the switch, I dont think the Street Glides have this feature as standard equipment anyway. I just make sure its in Neutral prior to starting with the Jiffy Stand down.
thanks guys
now i know
i dunno why hd put that switch on international bike and dont put it on US bikes
its very useful feature
its not that exp feature ....maybe
thanks guys

A jiffy stand sensor? Really? Even if my bike had one, I would rip it off even before the reflectors. Do you REALLY need a kick stand sensor killing your engine? I don't get it.
I dont see how this is usfull at all and I and baffled this would be a law anywhere.
Makes me think I'm lucky I can make it through a day w/o some law dictating my every action or thought.
