Default street glide grip replacement?

Any tricks on replacing the handlebar grips on a 2011 street glide with the electronic throttle do-hickey? thanks in advance!

It's usually the best to jerk off first, then yer more relaxed and have more hand strength to remove them.......maybe practice some first.

they are a piece of cake!! just loosen the two torx bolts wide enough to slide the old off and then slide the new on 10 minute job

the kury web site use to have a video on this. I looked for it but it looks like they removed it. I recommend getting the manual. What I remember from this is you need to put something in the front brake lever to keep from damaging the brake lite switch.

Cut the left one off, the right side just loosen the 4 torx screws and pull the grip out and off. More than likely you'll have to adjust the controls on the throttle side any how since most grips are longer than stock. Adjust the controls so that the throttle will return on its own and tighten everything up. Oh and you may have to the controls on the left as well.

It is much easier than cable throttle bikes. Just follow the instructions.

Mount the throttle first -- You're limited in motion with that one. Then make the left match the right.
