I use the portable controller and clip it on to the belt on my riding jacket.

At 4:30 am and low 40's heated gear is a wonderful thing.

I hate to attach anything permanently to my bike, so I use a large rubber band that goes around the consol just above the nose of the seat. This way I can adjust the Temp with ease as I ride. Also when not needed I just stow the controller in the saddlebag. The rubber band is also good for holding a map, your gloves while you’re getting ready. Looks Zero, function 10+. Having said that I really like the custom unit the Capt. Made, how much do you charge for one like that Capt.?? Thanks
