hey guys, i have a heated gear controler that i need to mount on the bike. I was wondering if anyone here rides with heated gear and where they mounted the controler. I have one on my Yamaha that i mounted through the inner fairing but i don't really want to follow that route with my Ultra Classic one so I'm canvasing the forum to see if anyone uses them and where they mount the control. I didn't have the forsight to get a belt clip. it has an adhesive and velcro mount that can be put about anywhere.
Mornings here when i go to work at 0400 are still pretty brisk, in the low to mid 40's. While it gets warmer during the day its still pretty chilly during the early morning hours when the sun is not up so forgive me for being a wuss, but my old bones don't like it when its below 50 and dark. Fifty with the sun out is another story.
Thanks guys, gives me a couple of ideas. Neat holder Itch....btw, love the drink holder i got from you last year that replaces the lowers glove box cover. Works and fit great.

I mounted my gerbing remote controller with the **** through the 4 switch housing just ahead of the fuel tank. The rest is under the seat behind the tank. I originally had the plug just coming out between the seat and frame, but after plug end failure - I replaced the ends with powerpole connecters and have it hard mounted in the plastic air deflector at the rear of the motor on my FLHTK. The **** is kinda out of site, but reachable, and I only had to drill into the switch housing - not the inner fairing.
You can get a controller that has the ***** and wires without the plastic case so the ***** can be panel mounted. I don't know if I explained that very well...Anyway, there are some ideas and pictures in this thread below. Maybe it will help.
