Default is Power commander on?

Hello everyone-
I bought a 1999 Electra Glide classic and have spent the last 6 weeks making her mine. I've done new stereo, HID headlight, Smoked lights on all corners, new seat, lowered, change the fluids, plugs, wires, street glide mirrors, new grips, new dash and panel, I also have the fullsac header pipe coming. I have rode her about 1100 miles. The guy I bought her from had a big bore kit put on as well as V&H slip ons. After he did this he bought a Dynojet Power commander, he told me that he wired it up at home. I ordered the CD for install from Dyno Jet yesterday because I just don't think their is a tune loaded the bike is just way to sluggish. I'm wondering if there is a down and dirty way to tell? The green lights on the side come on and change with the RPM's, but no other outward signs there is one loaded, did these come preloaded with a tune? Your help is appreciated

When you get the CD load the software to your laptop & simply plug into the Power Commander. The software will automatically pull up the map on your Power Commander. The previous owner should have given you the software & USB cable.

I ordered the CD and already have the correct cable, is it possible for the commander to be wired up but not have a map loaded?

My guess is,there's a map already loaded but he coulda "blanked " it out previously. It says in the instructions you can press all 3 buttons, turn the ignition on,hold it that way and it'll take it back to basically no map .At least that's what I read.Is this a PCII,PCIII,PCIIIr,or PCIIIUSB ??
On PC's website you can download all the maps, compare to what you have on your bike or what the previous owner did/add and find a map that closely resembles yours and download it. Now,according to Fullsac, you may not need a power Commander But if there's a bunch of other stuuf done to your bike,it would be a good idea.Try getting ahold of 1997Bagger on here,he knows his stuff and can help guide you thru.
As for the Fullsac, you may not like the look of reusing your right side heat shields but you can find another of the 'longer" pieces and cut it so that you have a more finished look.

Thanks for all the help. I found out the PC I have is the PCII with the old serial port for connecting to the pc. After hours of messing with it I finally got it to connect to the PC only to find out it will not hold a tune. Soooo, today I ordered a PCIII from Fuel Moto. I will let everyone know how it goes
Thanks again for the help
