I hope both you and your wife have speedy recoveries and that the insurance company does you well.

Glad to hear you're both gonna be ok. I was Hit head on several years ago and i know all too well that feeling of "I'm gonna wreak, its gonna hurt, and theres not a thing i can do but hold on". A full face probably saved my life, Definately saved my teeth bein embedded in the windshield. You deserve a new bike out of the deal. After all you were perfectly happy with the one you had right! You shouldn't have to go into debt for a new bike due to their negligence. Stay positive!

Glad to hear you and the wife will be ok - good reminder to me that a helmet is the safe choice because anything can happen at any time. I'm gonna try and heed your lesson and wear it more often this season.

Happy shopping!

All the Best to both of you. Heal quickly. You can replace the bike, but never a limb or a live. Glad to hear you are both ok.

Glad to hear you and your wife will be okay. I T-boned a van that pulled out in front of me last September and am thankful I was wearing my helmet. Take it easy and get well.

+1 on the lawyer; get a good one and remember, the adjuster (even the one from you insurance provider) is not your friend. Only a fool will try to negotiate with an insurance company without the help of legal council. I'm very happy that both you and your soulmate weren't seriously injured; however, you were injured and your bike, helmets, and accessories all need to be replaced. Heal well and make sure you are ready for your new ride.

...if it was an 02 Streetglide...it would be priceless since they didn't come out till 07!.. it's an 09 according to his post.. the 02 is the RKClassic in his username...
