Plus 1 on lawyer. Cagers need to be hurt where it hurts...over time every suit adds up to awareness. thanks for posting this. I get tempted to take off my armored leathers and full faced. Speedy recovery.

Tin can be replaced, people can't. Glad you both made it. Hopefully you get a decent adjuster. Wishing you both a speedy recovery.

I'll also express the same - Very Happy You and Your Wife Are Okay

I will resist saying what I would like to say about females hitting Motorcycles.
Just read the statistics - they are always at the top of the list - Geezzzzz!

I really believe they should be charged with attempted murder. I've lost four friends that were all killed by female drivers while on their bikes. My wife was hit head on by a female driver while she was on her bike. Better stop ranting while i can......

I forgot glad you two are ok.

Note: on the full replacement value, don't forget about the tax.

The wife and I started out on an afternoon ride, beautiful sunny day, had been on the bike only about five minutes. A lady pulled out of a parking lot into traffic and wham, I tried braking no use she was right there. We T-boned her, Lisa went flying into the car and over it, it through me backwards off the bike. After a couple of minutes of each of us screaming for the other, we found out each was ok. I've got a broken thumb a torn ACL, bumps and bruises, a little road rash. Lisa has cracked ribs, her pelvis area swollen and sore and her shoulder is pretty messed up also. The bike however not so lucky, the front end smashed, bent forks, bent rim, the bars coming down the front of the frame bent, front cylinder cracked, oil pump busted, fuel tank seam cracked, front motor mount busted, handle bars bent, crash bars bent. The pictures my son took yesterday don't do justice, I went to look at the bike and get stuff out of the bags, I almost got sick to my stomach. All this at about 20 - 25 miles an hour. We used to ride without helmets when allowed, never again, after bouncing off the street and car with only this... I'm a believer. Once the pain goes away, we'll be looking for a new bike, I'm thinking black denim this time, gotta stay with black, my 09 is vivid black... bent and scratched.
Damn. Hope everything heals well, and you're back in the saddle soon. Best wishes, and Godspeed.
