Has anyone moved the floorboards on an 06 SG foward an inch or so? I know harley sells a kit for this but you need to change the inserts with it. I don't know of any other way to move them forward. May have to rework the mounts so they move forward an inch or two. I like a more stretched out feel for my feet and legs.
I have the HD kit that moves the footboards forward an inch. You will reuse your existing inserts - the kit consists of new pans that attach to the factory brackets and replace the stock pans. About a 20 minute install - very easy.
