well...I found the screw hole. The foam WAS covering it up. I had to push the foam down about a quarter inch but now I can see it. Put the backrest rest on but I'm a little dissapointed its such a pain to put on and take off. I was hoping for more of a quicker change out cause I don't want it on all the time. Thanks everyone for the help.

Sorry for bringing up a two year old thread, but has anyone figured out an easy way to do this? Been trying for two hours and decided to take a break till tomorrow. Got it pushed down enough to have half of the backrest hole lined up and that's it.

Dig out the foam. I sold my dg. It was a pos. DG subs out manufacturing of some of the components, and some of those components were really poor quality on mine. The backrest was the worst part. Mustang makes a much better seat.
