Default Anyone using the Kuryakin Rider's Backrest?

I am looking for a backrest and was wondering if any one had this one? If so how do you like it? Would you recommend it?
Thanks,

I decided to go "Kuryakyn Free" on this bike to explore other alternatives & give other vendors a chance.

Default Don't buy the Kury

I just got one of the Kuryakyn 1670 driver's backrest. It is a piece of junk. I have only used it for a few days and the bar has already bent backwards.. The metal is very soft and I am not that heavy. 200 pds and 6 foot. I am not even leaning on it hard.

I am calling Kuryakyn tomorrow because the dealer I bought it from says it's not their problem. They won't even exchange it. I suggest you get a different on and whatever you do don't order anything from Phat Performance.

I have the Mustang backrest on my Ultra purchased from Dennis Kirk. It installs easily, matches the bike seat, pulls out of vertical mount for easy anti-theft storage, folds down for passenger mounting/discounting, is adjustable on the fly and the construction is very solid. As best I recall, it was priced in the $200 range.
