You likely have what's called "sumping," which means oil is accumulating into the crank area and can't be scavenged quickly enough. I had 25k on my bike when I did my cam job and replaced only the o-rings in the cam plate. In fact, I didn't remove the oil-pump at all.

Sumping can be caused by an incorrectly installed "O" ring on the oil pump mating surface which allows engine oil to enter the cam chest cavity. When the scavenging section of the oil pump can't remove it fast enough it accumulates in the crank cavity. The result is sluggish performance, oil overheating, and possibly engine oil blowing out the breathers. The sluggishness is caused by the flywheels in the motor slamming into the pool of excess oil in the crankcase area. Check all o-rings, including those in the cam plate, and make sure one hasn't become pinched or has fallen out of place, and realign the oil-pump according to the manual.

Glad it is something simple and should be easy to fix. Tell us what you find.

Glad you found the problem with sumping.

I had the same problem with the FM pushrods, went to set the exhaust one and then it froze while I was expanding it. I returend the rods to FM and used by SE adjustables.

OK guys,
I took everything back apart and don't believe that sumping was my issue. It's seem on my bike there is no plug under the cam chest, the plug I pulled was to drain the crane case. The cam chest only contained about 6oz of oil when i pulled the cover off.
I'm glad that I did pull it apart because I found that a piece of a tooth on the inside of the oil pump had broken off and scored the inside of the housing. I must not have had it aligned properly during the first install. I ordered one from Zanotti and they said it wasn't in stock so it would be 4 or 5 extra days to get it, so bike sitting waiting on parts for now. I also ordered alignment pins so this doesn't happen again. I'm hoping the metal is caught by the new filter I installed.
Anyways all of the timing marks looked good so I called Fuel Moto. I talked to Keith who suggested that it may have thrown a fault code and the ECM went into a safe mode. He sent me instructions on how to check and clear these codes, so when I returned home from work today I checked things out. The only code that was in there was "B1005 Fuel Level Sending Unit High/Open Instruments" and I assume that it threw this code because I turned the bike over with the starter after removing the tank (connections unplugged) and rocker cover to inspect valve and rocker movement after having the issue of loss of power.
So I am still stumped and at a standstill

Thanks for all your advice and I'll keep ya posted when I get it reassembled.
