You definitely want to do Mount Washington! It's a great ride. Both times I tried to get up to the top (during bike week) it was so foggy, you couldn't make it. But it's definitely scenic, and should be done. The cruise around the lake is great as well, but there's plenty of good riding up there so there isn't anything that will disappoint you.

I'm only 30 minutes away from laconia and i "always" have my rain gear packed on the bike....we "DO" get rain alot during the rally as a rule.........you'll be easy to spot with your rain gear left at home
a nice ride is north on rt 11 into merideth,take a right at the lights onto rt 25 follow it until you come to rt16(BBQ place to stop for lunch there at intersection of rt 25/rt16,then head north on rt16 and grab rt 112 on the left(kangamungus hwy) follow it up and over the kank down into lincoln,take rt3 back into merideth(rt25/rt11) back up rt11 back into the weirs were you started from...........nice loop.
please bring your rain gear with you,so it wont rain on us here in NH during bike week!
