Default ARC audio MPAK kits

I tried a search and didn't come up with a lot of information or user reviews of the ARC audio MPAK kits. These look like all in one kits with the mini amp, speakers, and wiring.

Has anyone had any positive or negative experiences with these kits?

I'm also considering the Hogtunes 902.2 speakers with amp and hogpod since those three can be had for less $$, but am concerned that I might might be disappointed.

I'm looking to improve the overall sound and be able to increase the volume without distortion so I can hear the tunes a little easier over the Pro Pipe (awesome sounding system BTW).

Any and all opinions are appreciated.

Thanks!

Regards,
JB

The amp is first class and the speakers are just ok. They are an improvement to the stock ones. You also get all the wiring to hook up the power and on/off trigger with the package. You will have more than enough sound over your pro pipe. I have the fat cat and can still hear the music at 75 mph+

I have a MPAK 4 kit in my bike. The stock setup can't compare to the setup with the amp and larger speakers.

I have no problems hearing the stereo over my bike and wind at 75mph. The speakers are pretty nice, while the amp is great. You can turn it up very loud without any distortion. I have other riders complimenting the sound quality often.

I believe the J&M amp everyone raves about is actually a rebadged ARC amp. There was a thread about it somewhere here.

The install was a piece of cake and took me about an hour and a half or so. That was with taking the tank off too.

Forum member, Firecap is an authorized ARC dealer. I did not know about Firecap at the time of my purchase, but contacted him for install advice. He walked me through the install as if I was his best customer. I would buy the MPAK from him w/o hesitation.

I hope this helps!
