Amp/speaker upgrade
Looking at getting a Hogtunes NCA 70.2 amp and speakers set up, along with a Hogtunes tweeter pod. Keeping stock head unit. I am looking or feedback on a setup like this . I'm looking for better sound on the highway, but I don't need the best system out there. What do you think? I have about a $500.00 budget for amp and speakers.

Maybe do a search for Sounstream and read some of the posts about that system. Also when searching for amps, speakers and installs you'll get a lot of information on several different combos. Think you'll find that you have lots of choices with your budget. There's a thread or 3 by Ultranutz with great descriptions, instructions and pics. I'll probably spend a little more and will go for the Biketronics 2180 amp with the 2 Titan 2/HAT speakers...complete kit for $600. Several good choices to consider.

I looked at several, including Biketronics. I like the plug and play of Hogtunes. Is Biketronics the same easy plug and play set-up? I liked the Titan 2 speakers, those are just bolt in replacements.

The TitanII are easy to install but you need to push them with a nice powerful amp.
