Was wantin some honest opinions on whether id gain much from the dyno, the bike seems to run fine with the map for what has been done. I keep tellin myself its a bagger there just #s. but didnt know what if any more could be gottin out of it. The dealer just did a couple runs with the smart tune feature and that was it . only got little over 100 miles on it so far.My SIG. shows whats been done to it. Thanks Guys.
Numbers? Never had it Dynoed . Thats another thing findin a guy within 2 or 3 hours away thats good.
When you said your dealer did a couple of runs with the smart tune, I read that as being on the dyno. Are you saying he just took it around the block a couple of times?

Sorry bout that . they leave tuner hooked up and ride it it records whats goin on thru the ecm calleed the smart tune feature. they've never used that feature before, i was the experiment.
I rotate my bikes through the Dyno nites at the local bike night, especially when I have been playing with the fuel system.
I'm not concerned with the HP/Torque numbers as much as I want to see A/F numbers across the range to make sure I am not going lean at any point, especially in the carb'd rice rockets.
I'm about to tear the carbs off the ZRX and do a jet kit... so I know the first bike on they dyno will be that one. 25 bucks for 2 pulls and a printout is cheap insurance in my world.

Im no quote wrench LOL. I no about enough to get myself in trouble but thats kinda what i was curious about mainly was the AFR. If i could get a couple pulls to see what its doin for 25 bones I'd be happy.dont seem to be runnin rich . Just piece of mind I guess
I'm an advocate of dyno'ing. I don't know where you live in IL, but if you're anywhere North, you could go to Jamie @ fuelmoto, and have him do it. He did mine, and as far as I'm concerned, he's the best. I live close to Great America, and I can get to Jamie's in 3 hours. It was well worth the trip to me.
Just was talking with the tech at local HD shop about dyno or not, he said that most techs can get you pretty close by just setting up your tuner, BUT it takes a dyno to get your Air/Fuel mixture right, it's the only way. I watched them dyno a few bikes at the shop annual B-day party, and the HP and TQ did not change but a couple, but the A/F went from being 14plus to avg. 12.6, which they said was good across the board. I don't really know, just passin' on what I've been told. Hope it helps.
