I recently adjusted my clutch. I read a posting on here recently that suggested you weld a hex nut to the top of an 11/16 socket so you can tighten the retaining nut while holding the hex screw with an allen wrench, through the socket bottom. I was able to borrow an 11/16" spark plug socket from a mechanic buddy, which of course already has a hex top on it. I decided to buy one and they just plain are not available. I checked MAC Tools, Craftsman, Snap-On, and S&K, and E-Bay and nobody makes an 11/16" Spark Plug Socket. My mechanic buddy called his Snap-On rep and it ends up that this socket has been discontinued, but they still have boxes of them in their warehouse. He told me the cost is about $20.00 and I should have it tomorrow. If you are in need of a socket to adjust your clutch you may want to call Snap-On and ask for this.
This toolset is a godsend and I plan to buy a metric set for working on my other vehicles in the future. I simply put the socket with the extension on it, and the allen wrench fits right down the center.
