Radio wiring
I'm trying to put in a powered antenna under the cowl. I would like to know the wire color for the amplifier power output from the radio or if the radio has an antenna power output, that would work also. Thank you in advance.

I have a J&M Amp installed and using the OEM HK Head unit. There's no output/trigger wire on either the Amp or HK unit that I'm aware of. As I see the issue, will need to somehow "find" an output/trigger that ONLY works in "AM/FM" mode. There's no sense in
activating a power antenna in CD/iPOD mode. Otherwise, you could just use any "power" output wire for a trigger source....

I tried a Metra powered antenna and used the lighter power. this antenna is the biggest p.o.s. The reception is the same without my mast installed. Anyone know of a better option? Is the Harley one any good?
