trouble with Dakota Digital antenna

I installed a radio on my 05 standard and used a Dakota Digital electronic hidden antenna. The reception is not very impressive. I hooked up the power wire for the antenna to a wire going to the radio that gets power with the key switch. Anyone else have problems with this antenna? Thanks.

It may be the placement of the unit.Try moving it around in differant spots until it gets louder than mount it or strap it or fasten it some way.

Mine is not as good as the factory whip, but I get adaquate reception with it, and I'll sacrifice a little reception for the clean look. I usually use the XM radio anyway.
