Default hidden antenna hookup
Hi Guys, I hooked up an amplified antenna to my bike. I connected the power to the light circuit breaker and grounded the metal ground wire to the ground screw on the back of the alpine stereo. The radio stations are now working but as soon as I turn the power on for antenna I'm getting interference. The radio stations do come in with the antenna not powered on but I'm thinking I should get better quality with antenna powered on. Any idea whats going on here?

I would try grounding to the frame or other suitable ground point on the bike.

I was kind of wandering about that, I'll try the ground some where else.

i have a dakota powered antenna and i get bad reception, i may look at the ground
