YES, YES, YES! '07 Vivid Black Road Glide with some noise. Who cares, ride it like you stole it! :-)
1 week old Sat.
Just installed oil cooler today, going to test tomorrow and see if it makes any differance.
This may sound biased because I still have a "hunk of junk" 05 but it really isnt. I see alot of posts where people slander the older rides. I think it's funny because yesterday they where your pride and joy. With time comes improvement. The 07's are an improvement to there predacessor. But please don't slander what you once held close to your heart. I will be upgrading soon too. I wont commit to an 07 though. I learned my lesson in 99-2000. This time i'm going to wait for the bugs to be worked out. Remember.. not all bugs are visible right away. If i where to jump at an 07, I know I would be one of the unlucky ones. I'll take my chances a year or two later. Honestly.. I might just get a Jims 120 and a six speed and forget about 07+. Sounds good to me. Deffinatly cheaper anyway.
Traded in a 01 Ultra for an 07 Ultra, can't believe the power difference, I thought the 01 was sweet and was really hesitant on getting rid of it but all those worries are gone, absolutely love the 07
Sounds to me like everybody's happy. Everything mass-produced can have a problem here or there, that's where "tolerances" come in. As much as R&D try to simulate real-world, there's no substitute.
