IS ANYONE HAPPY WITH THERE 2007 MOTORCYCLE PURCHASE. SEEMS TO BE A LOT OF COMPLAINING? JUST CURIOUS IS THIS SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS EVERY MODEL YEAR ON THE FORUM
I love my 2007 Streetglide. I ride a 2005 Road King at work and my '07 is a far superior bike. More power, better fuel effeciency, smoother, just a better bike period. I wouldn't trade it for a "88 5 speed bike that's for sure.
There was a similar list of grievances with the 06's. I had to deal with a couple of the much talked about deficiencies, but my dealer was very cooperative and made them go away. All in all, I'm happy. Wouldn't trade my bike for any other. My only complant is that I don't get to ride often enough.

I'M FRICKING ECSTATIC WITH MY '07 ROADGLIDE! 6 WEEKS, 2700 MILES, IT'S GREAT! SHEESH!
in 27 years of riding i have only ridin a few bikes,77 spst ,custom ss,03 sprst,70's bmw.partlycause ive never asked anyone including dealer to test ride.just dont like to impose i gess. but bought a eg 07 just on word of mouth alone. called dealer and said is it there im on my way with a check... about seven hundred miles later im still in love ,its like nothing ive ever riden.
its a harley and sounds and run likes one. love it and to those that have problems with theres ive been there plenty wish you well. but for the other(s)?? a baby goes waaaaaaaaa!!!!
I bought my 07 RKC 3 weeks ago and am very happy. I have taken several mtn trips and commuted on the highway to work and I think this baby runs! I have been renting Harleys for years, this is my first ownership, and it feels more powerful than the TC88's the rentals have had. My plan right now is Rinehart true duals(when they finally come out), AC and Sert, to get the most out of this engine. Again I am VERY happy!
I just purchased a '07 SG - best damn bike I have ever rode. Whats not to like, 2,900 RPM at 80 MPH? Torque far superior to those of the past, great paint, craftmanship & styling. Its an awesome package, I can't wait for next summer when I can really get some big rides in. Put 951 miles on the bike in 5 days, heck it took the dealer 6 days to get my bike back to me from the 1,000 mile check up. Here is a pic on day 3, thats Lake Superior in the back ground (I live in the Detroit area)
