difference in 09 and 11

Default difference in 09 and 11
I'm thinking of trading in my 09 road king in on a 2011 road king or street glide. Are there any major differences in these year models?

Only difference is the 103 engine is available as standard equipment on the RKC and some other models. I've heard some say the ECM has been upgraded on the 09's and newer???

Same frame. 11 has SE compensator and has a Cat in the exhuast. You can get the 103 with the power pkg in the 11. 103 has the compression releases built in.

stay road king, but no I dont think there are too many major differences. It should have the new frame allready

I think you will like the fairing, I know I do. Rode windshield bikes for years and I thought the fairing might bug me, but it doesn't. I came from a 2010 EGC to a 2011 Ultra Limited, the 103 is nice. I rode a Honda VTX and a Yamaha Stratoliner before these with just a windshield. SE compensator and maybe some color changes is all I can think of. The 10 and 11 bikes have Cats in the head pipe but it is easily removed. If you ride 2 up a lot the tour pack is nice too for the passenger. One other thing, the stock seat on the Street Glide sucks.

Yes it does, I think all the 103's do now.

Possible, I know the 103's in the Limited's do. They may have upgraded the 96's too.
