keep us posted......it comes off easier with the spark plug pulled....don't forget to space out the gap on your rings 120 degree's from each other when you re-install.
When you get the head off the bike, take it to a machine shop and let them remove the broken stud. They can do it without screwing up your head, it won't cost much and you'll save yourself alot of stress. I've done this and you will undoubtedly end up breaking an ez out off in the stud or drill off the stud into the head. It's worth the small amount they'll want to do it.
