I feel for you riders back east. Hearing people talk about winterizing their bikes is not something we ever think about. Our perfect riding season has started and will continue through May. June, July, August and September are usually "night rides" due to the high, dry heat during the afternoons. The fall, winter, and spring months are gorgeous riding months.
Well it is a beautiful sunny day here in NJ today. Temps in the mid 50's. BUT, so damned windy it's ridiculous. Wind gusts are hitting 40 mph plus according to weatherchannel, but I could swear they are considerably higher. I just watched the hose reel on the side of my house fly into the back yard. Walked the dog this morning and had to dodge tree branches. With all sorts of stuff going balistic across roads I think maybe I'll pass.
