Bad pinging
In response to pinging or top end it sounds like it could be either now that you mention it.I am old and don't hear well but I can hear this very well.Can anyone distinguish the difference in the two.It sounds similar to a car pinging.This is happening when you run through the gears and hit 4000 or better and has just started a few days ago.I'm old but I still turn it loose often.Thanks

I put over 100 miles on my bike with seafoam added and the pinping has almost disappeared so thanks so much for the info.So now I'm going to build to a 103 with tmans 555 cams.I know one can never leave well enough alone.
