2011 Ultra Classic vs limited
The Limited is a great "get on it and ride" bike. If you leave your bike pretty stock, the Limited is your ticket as it does have pretty much everything on it.
However I knew I was going to do a FM 107 kit, which to me means the added expense of the 103" engine was pointless. The FM 107 kit costs the same whether you're converting a 103 or a 96.
I knew I wanted chrome wheels, but I want the CVO wheels not chrome Limited wheels. The extra cost for the Limited wheels didn't make much sense to me when I knew I was buying CVO wheels in a year.
My Ultra has ABS/Security and the bag liners which are important to me same as the Limited so there the bikes were equal.
With all this said the only thing the Limited brought to me of value was the factory installed tour pak rack as I don't really care either way about the oil cooler and heated grips (I put the HD Aleron grips on my bike). For me, and what I wanted to do with my bike I didn't see spending the extra $1000 on the Limited.
For some the Limited is a smoking deal, no doubt. In my case, not so much, so I went with the Ultra. Again, I think if you like the Limited equipment then its great, but if you want custom engine, wheels, ect..you might want to think about what your end goals are.
Do I like Limiteds? Heck yah! It the Cadillac DeVille of the HD world, I just wanted a custom Seville. Either way, they're both sweet ride.
Congrats on whatever bike you get...and post up some pics when you get it home.

...But you're right, if you get the FLTRU, you get the added bonus of it being a "Fugly" (capital F!)
It's win-win.
