Buy about 20 mousetraps.....lay them around the bike, on the bike, next to the bike, etc etc etc. Once he gets his paws nipped a few times, he will stay away from the scooter.

If a person had done this much damage to your bike do any of us wonder what you might have done. It's a cat, step on it's neck till it stops squirming problem solved.
