My 11 year old twin daughters have a Calico cat that I thought was pretty cool, considering I don't like cats, but anyhow after bringing my 07 Ultra home several months back I noticed it like to sleep on the seats and when I caught it I'd knock it off until the wife got onto me along with my daughters, who were all concerned about the cat getting brain damage as a result of my love taps. They suggested I get a cover form my bike even though I keep it in the garage.
I went to my Harley dealer in Hammond and purchased a nice touring cover several weeks ago and promptly came home, washed my bike and put it under the cover until today when I decided to ride it. I pulled off the cover today to find that that damn cat had gotten under the cover and made itself at home. It has punched holes in my passenger backrest with it's paws, scratched the tank and left dirt and hair everywhere, even in my speakers !!!
I know what your thinking, you'd haul it off or knock it in the head and believe me it has crossed my mind, but if it disappeared my wife and daughters would know what happened to it and I'd be in the dog house over it. Has anyone experienced this problem and resolved it. If so please let me know before I say the hell with it and the cat bites the bullet [sm=shootshoot.gif]
Any suggestions on what to do would be greatly appreciated !!!
My wife got this plug in pad that she puts on her truck , kitty steps on and gets ZAPPED not enough to do any harm , but it works well keeping the cats off.
Go to the local zoo and ask for a Big Cat Dropping......they'll be glad to give you some! Lay it on some plastic wrap on the seat.......kitty won't come near your bike. For that matter, nobody else will either! Seriously...it will work. Had some friends that placed panther squat in their flower beds.....no more housecats.
